What is Strange Life Podcast about?
Strange Life is a podcast about identity, culture, and neurodivergence—told from the inside. Hosted by Daisy Onubogu, the show dives deep into personal experiences and hard-earned knowledge to explore what it means to live at the intersection of autism, ADHD, Blackness, womanhood, Igbo heritage, and more. Each episode is a thoughtful deep-dive into what makes us who we are. Topics will alternate between the psychological and sociological.
Who is the host, Daisy Onubogu?
Daisy Vera Onubogu is a writer, speaker, a former venture capital investor, and former tech executive with a background in Law, DEI, and community design. She’s also an autistic, ADHD, Igbo, Irish woman whose life experiences span many cultural and cognitive frameworks. This podcast is where she brings it all together—scholarship, storytelling, and selfhood.
Why did you start this podcast?
Because I’ve spent years obsessively learning about how identity and culture shape our inner worlds. I’ve fought hard to understand myself, and I wanted to share that understanding in a way that could help others feel seen, understood, or less alone. Also: I love to talk. A lot.

Do I need to be autistic or neurodivergent or black or whatever to enjoy this?
Not at all. If you’re curious about the human mind, identity, and what it means to be a person in the world, this is for you. People who hold these identities will likely feel especially seen—but anyone can learn something new.
How long are the episodes?
Episodes range from 20–60 minutes depending on the topic. They’re designed for deep listening but also work well in the background of your day.
Will there be guests?
For now, Strange Life is a solo podcast. In future seasons, guest episodes may be introduced—but always in service of the same deep, reflective tone.
How often do episodes come out?
New episodes are released fortnights over an 16-week season. Follow on Spotify or Substack to be notified when new ones drop. There will also be bonus / response episodes where questions sent in to questions@strangelifepod.com are answered.
